He was predeceased by: his significant other Beverly Ann Wood (Hollis); his grandson Daniel Patriquin; and his parents, Ronald Wood and Margaret Wood (Black). He is survived by: his children, Trudy Reid (Dave), Brian Wood (Maryanne), Ann Patriquin (Doug), Julie Blake (Andy) and Janelle Rushton (Shaun); and his siblings, Terry Deveaux (Mike) and Danny Wood (June). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews.
