She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Royal and Margaret Dorothy Simpson (Mayne); and her sister Carol R. MacKay. She is survived by: her husband Jack Nix; her sons, Drew Nix (Krisann), Port Philip and Brad Nix (Sonia); her grandsons, Cole Nix (Port Philip), Owen Nix (Port Philip), Liam Nix and Logan Nix; and her siblings, Janice Crossman, Marliss Gallant of Riverview, NB and James Simpson.
