It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Mackintosh (Oxford, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Agnew and Freda Agnew (Plumbley); her stepfather Ted Cargill; her husband Gerald; her daughter-in-law Patricia; and her great grandchild Taylor Lynne.

She is survived by: her children, Leigh (Therese), Randy, Ian (Cheryl), Salem and Valerie (Kolbec); her daughter-in-law Margaret; her grandchildren, Harold (Gayle), Colin (Cathy) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Natasha, Vicki, Jeffery, Melissa Lund (Shane) of Memramcook, NB and Mark Dobson (Sam); her great grandchildren, Shyra, Charlie, Aurora and Sabrina; and her niece Jean Bush (Larry) of Montreal, QC. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anita slipped the bonds of earthly consciousness on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, surrounded by as many adoring family members as COVID protocols would allow at the age of 94.
