It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Nicholson (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Nicholson (MacDonald) and Allan Nicholson; his brother Allan Nicholson; his mother-in-law Marie Bénac; and his sister-in-law Diane Youden (Bénac).
He is survived by: his significant other Michele (Bénac); his children, Stefanie (Adam Fancy), Kyle (Angie Hosking) and Ryan (Ruth Anne Fader); his granddaughter Freya Grace Nicholson; his godchildren, Marc Lyle and Hayley Burke; his sisters, Sharon, Ann Nicholson and Donna D'Amour; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Cassidy (Reg), Eugene Bénac (Karen), Paul Bénac (Linda Keeping) and Shawn Bénac. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, students, and friends of his children.
