He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Scott and Frances Scott (Skeard); his sister Anne Paul; and his mother-in-law Marion MacLeod (Taylor). He is survived by: his pet Zelda; his wife Ellen (MacLeod); his sons, Wayne (Courtney) and Matthew; his siblings, Jack, Nancy Theriault, Brenda Douglas (David) and Bras; his father-in-law Gordon MacLeod (Dot); his aunt Carolyn; his uncle Jim Heidl; his cousin Jane Heidl; his brother-in-law Gordon MacLeod (Rosalie); and his close friends, Dean Denney, Mike Kasouf, Mavis, John, Paul Cogan and Michael Vickers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Covid-19 restrictions will be followed with the wearing of masks, social distancing and limited seating in the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Hospice Palliative Care, Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the North Sydney Food Bank.
