Susanna Macdonald Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2019, Susanna Macdonald (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Bateston, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Bates and Alice Bates (O'Neil); her husband Lloyd MacDonald; her daughter-in-law Lorna MacDonald; and her siblings, Marie White of Alice Wilcox, John, David, Alex, Herman, Jimmy and Gerard Bates.

She is survived by: her close friend Mary Power; her children, Lloyd, Paul (Patti), Alex, Mill Creek, Austin, Sandra (Emmie), Jean Donovan (Robert) and Sydney Mines; her grandchildren, Geoffrey, Brett, Joshua, Kristen, Alexandra, Loren, Katelyn and Stephen; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Bennett; her sisters, Eileen Boutilier, Bateston, Rita Bates, Theresa MacDonald and Sydney; and her siblings-in-law, Williamena, Iris Bates, Charlie Sampson (Bernice) and Patricia MacDonald. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
