She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Jessie Johnson (Hatch); her husband Arthur; her daughter Jessie; and her siblings, Gladys Noseworthy (James), Annabella Steward (Jim), Annie Thornhill (Clyde), Suzanne, Abraham (Polly), Thomas and Bert Johnson.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Tom; her children, Olive (Tom Pelley), Joan Hynes (Calvin), Bert Bishop (Janice) and Arthur James Bishop (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Shawn (Trina), Jeremy, Afton, Aaron, Amanda, Jordan and Kirk; her great grandchildren, Aihlin, Lucas and Christopher; her siblings, Mary Brushett (late Richard), Rhoda Hynes (late Bert), Harry (Ann) and Fred (Joyce); her sister-in-law Olive Johnson; her niece Shirley Bonnell (Derek); her godson Scott Bonnell; her friend Bernice Hatcher; and her pet Bella.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Cape Breton Regional Hospital An Cala Unit 4th Floor or the Northside Home Makers.
