With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert MacDonald (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 18, 2019 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh "Sonny" and Teresa MacDonald (Ryan). He is survived by: his siblings, Jacinta Archibald (Dale), Brian (Judy), Ottawa, Bill, Michael North Sydney (April) and Brent (Jennifer); his sister-in-law Miriam MacDonald; and his nieces and nephews, Shanon, Kathryn, Olivia, Abigail, Jonathan, Christopher, David, Drew, Thomas, Liam and Vincent.

Donations in Robert's memory can be made to the Cape Breton SPCA, North Sydney Food Bank or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
