He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Norman and Virginia Norman of North Sydney; his daughter Regina Allison; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Stella Hickey.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Hickey; and his brother-in-law Myrle Hickey of London. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
