It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Anderson (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Reid and Pearl Reid; her former husband Kenneth Anderson; her daughter Judy Jackson; her sister Georgie Griffin; and her parents-in-law, Archie and Hilda Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Anderson; her daughter Cathy Anderson; her grandson Tyler Jackson; her nephew Bobby Griffin; and her sister-in-law Minnie Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation for Phyllis will be 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. Sunday, in the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney, where Covid-19 restrictions will be in place regarding the wearing of masks and social distancing.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre Patient Care Fund or Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
