It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Frederick MacKinnon (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick MacKinnon and Shirley MacKinnon (Banfield); and his brother Daniel McKinnon. He is survived by: his sister Heather Stephenson (Donald); his sister-in-law Diane McKinnon; his nieces, Cindy, Sabrina and Melissa; his nephew Gabe; his caregivers, Les MacLean, Deborah Fowlie Galpin, Adam Power, Lisa Murphy and Eileen Gouthro; and his friends, Murray Reid and James King.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
