He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Farrell; and his siblings, Fred and Zenith. He is survived by: his parent Florence Farrell (Hare); his wife Jean Lawless; his children, Betty MacDougall of Antigonish, Dave of Stewiacke, Blair, Hamilton and Patricia Pero of Hammonds Plains; and his sister Faye Keeping.
