It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Macgillivray (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick Joseph; and his siblings, Mary and Paul. He is survived by: his parent Mary Agnes MacGillivray (Dunford); his wife Linda (Watkins); his daughter Sherrie of North Sydney; his brother Fred MacGillivray (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Gloria MacGillivray of Halifax and Ken Watkins (Belle) of Saint John, NB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NS Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Chisholm Foundation for Children.
