It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Whitty (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 18, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Alexander MacDonald; and her husband Albert Whitty. She is survived by: her parent Theresa MacDonald (MacIntosh); her children, Gerard Whitty (Lynn), Mississauga, Virginia Whitty (Herman), Holland, Donald Whitty (Robin), Lower River, David Whitty, Michael Whitty (Ella), Halifax Whitty, Ron Whitty (Kelly Ingram) and Millville; her grandchildren, Meghan, Liam, Erin, Sarah, Michael, Jennifer and Katheryn; her great grandchild Emmett; and her siblings, Bernice Ferguson, Archie MacDonald, David MacDonald, Big Bras and Ron MacDonald. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
