Mary Spencer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Spencer (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose White and Mary Ann White (Murphy); her husbands, Bill MacDonald and Patrick Spencer; her grandson Ryan Parsons; her stepdaughters, Mary Ann MacDonald and Patricia Boutilier; and her siblings, Otto (Jessie), Joseph (Annie), Margaret (Gus) and Essie (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ben (Robert) of Tamworth, ON, Angela Farrell (Reg), William MacDonald, Gail Parsons (John), Bras, Raymond MacDonald (Barbara) and Mary Arlene Aitken (Jim); her stepson Steve Spencer (Barbara) of Oshawa, ON; her stepson-in-law Earl Boutilier; her grandchildren, Robbie, Suzanne Ben, Kent, Colleen, Kelda Farrell, John, Melissa, Craig Parsons, Raymond, Sasha MacDonald, Necha and James Aitken; and her stepgrandchildren, Jenna, Danny Spencer, Graham Boutilier and Paul MacDonald. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to current covid-19 restrictions, a funeral mass for Mary will be celebrated at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
