She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Christie and Anne Christie (Cottrell); her siblings, Maureen, Maudine and Glen; the father of her children Eric Long; and her close friend Bernard Amey.
She is survived by: her children, Eric (Jennifer), Carrie MacRitchie (Greg), Sydney, Heather Andrews (Cliff) and Helen Long; her grandchildren, Erica, Lily, Camden, Brendan and Kristen; and her stepgrandsons, Aaron and Koady Young. She is also survived by many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
