Martha Raye Clarke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Raye Clarke of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Briggett (MacAskill) and Peter Briggett; her husbands, Kenneth MacEachern, Andrew Kinslow and Peter Clarke; her brothers, Monty, Abraham and Douglas; and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Briggett and Cleve MacLeod.

She is survived by: her children, Linda MacLeod of North Sydney, Phyllis MacLeod (Joe) of Ball's Creek and John MacEachern of Point Edward; her stepchildren, Linda Shepherd of North Sydney, Shirley Leblanc (Joey) of Georges River, Joan Byers of North Sydney, Thelma MacInnis of Calgary, AB, Georgie Stewart (Angus) of North Sydney and Kenneth Clarke (Juanita) of Pictou; and her sister Maise MacLeod. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
