It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Maude Porter (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophilus Buffett and Elizabeth Buffett (Strong); and her siblings, Tom, Dick, Frank, Esther Dunlap, Mabel Shanks, Yvonne Witter and Elizabeth O'Keefe (Bette Joe).
She is survived by: her nephew Cohen MacIsaac; her sister Bette Joe; her nephew Dave O'Keefe (Martha); her nieces, Nancy MacIsaac (Reg), Westmount and Wendy Boutilier (Ron Williams); her great-nephew Chris MacIsaac (Natalie); her great-niece Janet Langer; her friend Josephine MacLeod; and also, Zoe, Zoe, Cohen, Dakota and Brody.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Association or the local chapter of the SPCA.
