Loretta Higdon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Higdon (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 5, 2020 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta Higdon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Jenkins and Priscilla Jenkins (Anthony); her husband Louis; her son Andrew; her niece Corrine Paterson; and her siblings, Walter, Mark, Margie, Rosie and Garfield.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Linda) and Robert (Michele); her daughter-in-law Muriel; her nephew Fred Patterson (Eleanor); her grandchildren, Shawn, Tanya, Sheldon, Cindy, Kevin, Sarah and Philip; and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Brett, Madelyn, Lauren, Emily, Charlie and Lottie. She is also survived by grandchildren and extended family and friends for many years.

Memorial donations in Loretta 's memory may be made to St. Matthew Wesley United Church.
