He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne; his siblings, Lucy Lamey (Sam), Nellie MacPhee (Neil), Medie Boutilier (Hector), Monica Ramsey (Wilfrid), Elizabeth MacLean (Sam), Jack and Edward Doyle (Nora); and also, Charlie, Diane MacMillan, Dennis MacMillan, Dave and Marg Ratchford.

He is survived by: his sons, Joe (Linda-Ray) of Leduc, AB, Walter Ichikawa-Doyle (Norie), Nagano, Leo Blaise (Mede), Patrick (Leanne), Sydney River and David (Capri); his grandchildren, Heather, Andrew, Julia, Mara, Taylor, Frances, Ryan, Matthew, Callie, Chase, Drina and Cole; his great grandchildren, Jensen and Casey; his siblings, Jim (Maureen) and Anne Isaac (late Vince); and his siblings-in-law, Kay Batherson (Mac), John C. MacMillan (Karen), Normie MacMillan (Linda), Malcolm MacMillan (Linda) and Mary Beth MacMillan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
