It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Smith (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Probert and Rachel Probert (MacQuarrie); her husband Gordon; her son Paul; and her siblings, Janet Probert, Alexander and Donald.
She is survived by: her daughter Louise; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Kathryn, Brett and Amy; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Gavin; her brother Billy Probert; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Smith and Nancy Smith; her nieces and nephews, Mikki, Stripes and Bonnie; and also Jennifer. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Covid-19 restrictions will be in place with Proof of Vaccination, NS Government Photo ID, the wearing of masks and limited seating in the church hall for the service.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Wesley United Church.
