She was predeceased by: her parent Isadore Matthews; her husband James Patrick "Jimmy" Baker; her daughter Wanda; and her siblings, Linda Parks, Frank Matthews and Jim Matthews.
She is survived by: her parent Loretta Matthews (Galpin); her children, James "Jimmy" Baker (Donna) of North Sydney, Cheryl Anthony (John) of North Sydney, Shane Baker (Kim) of North Sydney, Scott Baker (April), Sydney Mines and Patrick Baker; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Alisha, Ashley, Brandon, Carter, Jessica, Hannah, Ava, Landon and Paige; her sisters, Gloria MacIntyre (Jim), Marie "WeWe" McKee (Bill) and Wanda MacLean; and her significant other Jackie Ginter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
