He was predeceased by: his parents, Anders Mortensen and Karen Mortensen; his former wives, Helen "Jean" (MacPherson) and Mary (Magley); his children, Kenneth and Vonnie Jessome; and his grandchildren, Christopher Jessome and Vanessa Jessome.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Moore); his children, Kathy Fleet (Cletus), Coxheath, Helen Chaulk (Stewart), Mill Creek and Michael (Amy); his grandchildren, Laura Chaulk (Mike), Leigh Thurbide (Brian), Jeana Pardy (Neil), Stewart Jr. (Rachael), Lisa Jessome, Joshua Jessome, Stephen Fleet (Carole), Tracey Fleet, Demetrius Best and Aaron Chaulk; and his great grandchildren, Kegan Fleet, Andrew McCuish, Tristan Chaulk, Seth Pardy, Austin Chaulk, Jadyn Chaulk, Shailynn Chaulk, Shirley McKee, Austin Jessome (Ozzie), Elena Best and Cole Thurbide.
Due to present Covid-19 restrictions a private family service will be held in the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.
