He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier and Priscilla Jean Pendergast (Young); and his brothers, Wally and Danny Pendergast. He is survived by: his common-law partner Ann Marie Bonnar; his children, Leona Brasier (Boularderie), Duane Young (Nicole), Ashley Young (Carrie) and Shania MacPhee (Sydney); his grandchildren, Josh (Kelsey O'Toole), Brittany, Carter, Ethan, Nicholas, Chloe, Jacob and Sophie; his siblings, Alex Pendergast (Valerie), Leona Pendergast (Darrell), Sydney Mines, Kathy Fitzgerald (Donnie) and Big Baddeck; his aunts and uncles, Bill, Maude Broussard, Phyllis Brookman, Hugh McInnis and Sam MacIntyre; and his daughter Heather Young.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, limited numbers will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time, masks are mandatory and all social distancing and sanitization protocols will be in effect.
