It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hurd (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hurd and Gertrude Hurd (Burchell); his sister Anne Douglas; his brothers-in-law, Terry Keeping, Leo Cooke and Jack Cook; and his parents-in-law, Thomas and Lillian Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hurd (Cook); his children, Alison Hurd (Dave) and Robert Hurd; his brothers, Martin Hurd (Winnie) and Gerard Hurd (Rhoda); his brother-in-law Brian Douglas; his sisters, Mary Jo Keeping, Sydney Mines, Thérèse MacLeod (Jim), Pauline White (Brian) and Millville; his sister-in-law Thelma Cook; and also Oscar Cordero. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
