John Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Evans (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans and Sarah Evans (Cox); his wife June Evans (Ferguson); and his siblings, James Evans (Evelyn), Robert Evans, Terry Evans and Ella Sherfey.
He is survived by: his children, Grocery Store, Linda Dicks (Dave), John Evans (Anne) of Leduc, AB and Scott Evans; his grandchildren, Jay Evans (Deanna), Shannon Doyle (Nathan), Jennifer Dicks (Jenn), Melissa Evans (Patrick) and Jacob Evans; his great grandchildren, Steven, Anna Evans and Brooklynn Doyle; his brother Fred Evans (Marion); his sisters-in-law, Bernice, Yvonne and Betty Ferguson; and his close friend Gertie Whitty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Giles Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice.
