James William Parsons Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Parsons (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Parsons and Marie Parsons (Gillard); and his son Rickey Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Callista Parsons (Young); his children, Bill Parsons (Julianna) and Tanya Carmichael (Charles); his sister Velma MacDougall (Hughie); his grandchildren, Adam, Gabriel, Matthew, Jessie and Annalyn; and the mother of his children Elaine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
