He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Delaney and Beatrice Maude Delaney; and his nephew Derrick Burchell. He is survived by: his close friends, Doug MacDonald, Blaine Cooke, Joe Dowling, Tom Edmonds and Bernice Andrea; his sons, Scott (Claire), Troy and Mark (Nicole); his grandchildren, Dawson and Hunter; his stepson Paul Andrea (Rhonda); his stepgrandchildren, Kori and Vincent Andrea; and his siblings, Marie Olausson (Runar) of Duncan, BC, Ethel Burchell (Lorne) and Bill Delaney (Karen). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center or Hospice Palliative Care Society.
