She was predeceased by: her parent Theodore Hatcher; her husband Charles Purves; and her siblings, Gordon, Stanley, Ted, Dan, Loretta Hill and Edith Giles.
She is survived by: her parent Amelia Hatcher (Hamilton); her children, Gordon Barrington Purves (Alana), Bras, Susan Jane Purves, Linda Charlene MacMillan (Norman), Glenda Virginia Purves and Toronto; her grandchildren, Christopher Stephen MacMillan, Grace Kelly and Charles "Chuck" Kelly; her brother Clayton Hatcher; and also Stratford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Northside Harbourview Hospital Foundation or the Rotary Club of North Sydney.
