He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bond and Nell Bond (Scott); and his sister Joan Hammond. He is survived by: his sons, Bobby (Michele) and Steven; his sister Avitus Fudge (Lloyd); his brother-in-law Bill Hammond; his nephews, Rod and Mark Hammond; and his pets, Daisy and Dixie.
