It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Mary Richards (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Lamaline, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hooper and Winifred Hooper (Caines); her husband Fred; and her siblings, Maxwell, William, Meta, Elizabeth 'Bess' and Ruby.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank, Sydney and Jim (Margaret); her grandchildren, Shari, Jolene, Anissa and Carla; her sisters, Grace Flemming (Steven) of Newfoundland and Marjorie Bonnell of Newfoundland; and her niece Patsy Murray. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
