With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gloria Donna Allen (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dolomount and Mary Anne Dolomount (Strickland); her brother Gerald (Ignatia); and her brothers-in-law, Roland and Terry.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her sons, Scott (Chanda) and Jeffery (Dianna); her siblings, Annie Hardy and Ron (Eudevilla); her siblings-in-law, Sheldon (Judy) and Yvonne; her nieces and nephews, Robert, George, Mark, Jamie, Bradley, Anthony, Thomas, Mary, Paula, Renee, Gail and Denise; her great-niece Tanya; her great-nephew Robbie; and her friend Dorothy O'Handley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (24 King St, North Sydney, NS B2A2S4).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John The Baptist Anglican Church or Alzheimer Society.
