It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Pearcey (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Pearcey and Jean Pearcey (Totten); his father-in-law James Ivey; and his brother-in-law Gordie Ivey. He is survived by: his significant other Corinne Ivey; his daughters, Beverly Newell (Jonathan) of North Sydney, Annapolis Valley of North Sydney, Cheryl Pearcey (Dave Crowdis) of North Sydney, Megan Pearcey (Mike Latter) of North Sydney and Ashley Pearcey (John Johnston) of North Sydney; his grandchildren, Lucy, Theodore Newell, Lily and Charlee Crowdis; his sister Cheryl McCarthy (Tom); his mother-in-law Jean Ivey; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Ivey, Sydney Mines, George Ivey, Millville, Jimmy Ivey and Betty.
