With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgia A. Allen (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 10, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Wharton Mines; her husband Douglas; her brothers, Murdock Ross (Bill) and Allister Ross (Allie); and her sister-in-law Joyce Carroll.

She is survived by: her parent Alexia Mines; her spouse Doug Allen (Allen Ice Company); her sister Lilah Sundberg (Ross) of Florida; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ross (Parsons), North Sydney, Grace Ross (Kay Thornhill) and Sault Ste Marie; her nieces and nephews, Bruce Ross (Ingrid), Kitchener, Patricia Slomke (Doug), Sault Ste Marie, Carol Ross-Bertrand (Paul), Toronto, Wayne Ross (Kathleen), Ottawa and David Ross (Heidi); and also, Lexie Mines, Ross Mines of Centerville and Sydney Mines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, North Sydney, or a charity of one's choice.
