He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Stubbert and Lucy Stubbert (Cadwell); and his siblings, Rose Rudderham, William, Matthew and Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Stubbert (King); his children, Priscilla Herridge (Albert), North Sydney, Loretta Strickland (Kevin), Eva Walters (Michael), Groves Point and George Stubbert of Glace Bay; his grandchildren, Robert, Lisa, Hilarie, George, Wayne, Wilson and Emily; his great grandchildren, Carissa, Casey, Aiden, Harlee, George, Jessie and Matthew; and his sisters, Priscilla MacInnis and Annie Devoe. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren.
