George MacKenzie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2021, at the age of 100, George MacKenzie (North Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George MacKenzie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel MacKenzie and Marion MacKenzie (Appleby); his wife Mary MacKenzie (Laidlaw); his siblings, John "Jackie", Gordon, Chalmers, Gilmour MacKenzie, Mildred Jackson and Ethel Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Jackson, Elliott Anderson, Wilfred Ferguson, Leslie Reid, Eleanor MacKenzie, Freda Ferguson and Bertha Reid.
He is survived by: his son David (Terry); his granddaughters, Kristin Jensen (Anthon) and Kathryn; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Kai and Lucy Jensen; and his sisters-in-law, Mae MacKenzie, Mildred Laidlaw and Gladys MacKenzie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Covid-19 restrictions will be followed with the wearing of masks, social distancing and limited seating in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew-Wesley United or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
