George Dicks Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Dicks (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Dicks and Phyllis Dicks (Strickland); his son Greg; his grandson Michael Dicks; his sister Estella; his brother-in-law Dennis Fernyhough; his mother-in-law Lillian Strickland (Stagg); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Watts and Brent Strickland.

He is survived by: his significant other Pauline Dicks (Strickland); his children, Cyril Dicks (Corena), Georges River, Kenny Dicks (Denise), Sydney and Wendy Macdonald (Lowell); his daughter-in-law Janet Dicks; his grandchildren, Jodie Lynn Fletcher (Tyler), Michelle Jessome (Nick), Jaclyn Dicks, Tara Byrne (Brian), Boularderie, Matt Macdonald (Chelsey), Natalie Dicks, Jenna Rasmussen and Sydney Mines; his great grandchildren, Owen, Nathan, Eloise, Drake, Cash, Axl, Noah and Trinity; and his sister-in-law Barb Strickland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's society or a charity of choice.
