He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabian Robinson and Regis Robinson (Marsh); his wife Linda Poirier; and his daughter Emily. He is survived by: his children, John of Kingston, NB and Lori Gardiner; his grandchildren, Jimmy and Emily; his great grandchild Jack; and his siblings, Robbie (Lucy) of North Sydney, Jude (Christine) of North Sydney, John (Janie) of Sydney Mines, Joan Hillier and Nancy Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
