She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Merritt; her sister Joan Swartzack (Eugene) of Antigonish; her brother-in-law Gerry MacLean; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Robin, Andrew, Mary, Eunice, Kay, Holly, Leanne, Angela, Tara, Jim, David, Marilyn, Juliette and Denise.
