With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Skinner (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Skinner and Mabel Skinner (Pyke); his son Alan Skinner; his stepfathers, John Timbury and Peter Clarke; and his siblings, Ralph Skinner, Georgina Skinner and Helen Grant.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Kay" (Pero); his children, Ed Skinner (Liz), Billy Skinner (Shawna), Peter Skinner (Lisa), Susanne MacPherson (Bryan) of North Sydney and Georgie Foster; his brother Bill Timbury (Liz); and his brother-in-law Gordon Grant. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Covid-19 restrictions must be followed with limited seating in the church and the wearing of masks are mandatory.

Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
