It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Jabalee of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward MacGillivary and Martha MacGillivary (Attwood); her husband Harold Jabalee; her daughter Helen Jabalee; her granddaughter Ashley Niemi; and her siblings, Edward "Sonny", Agnes, Marcy and Elizabeth "Betty".
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Erica Niemi (Derek) and Patrick Messom; her great grandchild Alyssa Niemi; and her friends, Mike Kasouf and Bob Jensen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a relative.
Memorial donations may be made to the North Sydney Food Bank, Hospice Palliative Care of Cape Breton or charity of choice.
