She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Day and Louisa Day (Colvey); her husband Harold "Harry" Serroul; her children, Harold "Hal" Serroul (Ellen) and Emily Hinks (Rick); and her siblings, Irene (John LeBlanc), Wally (Regis Jessome), Maggie (Gordon Nugent), Melinda (Alex Ross), Juanita (Seward MacLean), Hartland (Gertrude Somers), Gordon (Sarah Long), Betty (Hammond Musgrave), Billy (Juanita LeBlanc), Joey (Nellie Devoe), Les (Mary Walker), Lawrence (Mary MacIntyre) and Eugene (Winnie Carrol).
She is survived by: her children, Gena Burchell (Peter), Lloyd (Sherry Johnston), Giselle Pero (Robbie), Walter (Beth Barrie) and Alana (Gordon Purves). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Covid-19 restrictions will be in place with the wearing of masks and social distancing at the wake and funeral.
