It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doreen MacNeil (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Devereaux and Mary "Sis" Devereaux (MacKinnon); her husband Freeman; her son Kelly (Michelle); her grandchildren, Tyler and Chelsea (Steven Campbell); her brother Frank Devereaux (Hilda) of Westmount; her nieces and nephews, Duane Devereaux, Blair, Gerard, Glen Mac Neil, Lee Marie, Lori Ann, Leanne, Brenda and Theresa; her sister-in-law Joan Young (Allison); her close friend Elaine Clarke; and also, Blair and Glen. She was also cherished by Nanny loved dogs.

Covid-19 restrictions will be in place with mandatory proof of vaccine, NS Government Photo ID and the wearing of masks.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's society of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
