He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ivey and Mary Ivey (MacIsaac); his wife Mary Ivey (Anderson); and his siblings, Lou, Bill, Don, Wayne and Peg.
He is survived by: his children, Edythe Parks-Murrin of Kitchener, ON, Robert Ivey (Mary), David Ivey (Ruth Ann), Lisa Fennell (Darren) and Sydney Mines; his grandchildren, Kristen, Shannon, David, Mike, Mary-Lyn, Robyn, Paul, Blayre and Breton; his siblings, Thelma Scott, Betty Marsh, Mary Skinner (Joe), Linda Skinner (Lorne), Terry Ivey (Marilyn) and Russell Ivey; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Ivey, Bertha Ivey and Peter Anderson (Susan). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Covid-19 restrictions regarding the wearing of masks and proof of vaccination will be in place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the SPCA.
