He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Douglas and Henrietta Douglas (Williams); his brother Curtis; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Scott, Anne Paul and Lynn Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Douglas (Scott); his daughters, Amanda, Ashley and Sarah; his grandchildren, Emma and Evan Drake; his siblings, Larry (Joan), Brian (Lisa), Steve (Cathie), Frank (Sandy), Janice McKearney (Mike) and Dennis (Susan); his siblings-in-law, Jack Scott, Glen Paul, Nancy Theriault and Ellen Scott; and his friend David Oakley.
