He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Leyte and Shirley Leyte (Richardson); his siblings, Diane Penny and Donnie Leyte of Kitchener, ON; his parents-in-law, George and Jessie Hyde; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Astephen and Dougie Hyde.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Hyde); his daughters, Danielle Bonnar (Dale) of Petawawa, ON and Dana Leyte (Shane MacPhee); his grandsons, Owen, Timothy and Avery Bonnar; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Dipersio (Henry) of Sydney Mines, Lori Ryan (Bob) of Sydney Mines, Judy Hyde (Carmichael), George Hyde (Kim) of Sydney Mines, Donnie Hyde (Wilda) of Sydney Mines, Billy Hyde (Rose) of Sydney Mines and Denis Astephen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
