He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Robert and Shirley McKinnon (Banfield). He is survived by: his wife Diane McKinnon (MacIntyre); his children, Cindy (Chris), Sabrina (Devon), Gabe (Lenna) and Melissa (Dave); and his siblings, Heather Stephenson (Donald) and Morris MacKinnon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NS Heart and Lung Association or a charity of choice.
