He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sampson and Angelique Sampson (Avery); his siblings, Paul Sampson and Aileen Sampson Teletchia; and his son-in-law Manuel Swan.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Sampson (Lewis); and his children, Mary MacFarlane (Robert), Charles "Chas" Sampson (Carolyn), Bras, Joyce Swann, Pierre Sampson (Delores), Paul Sampson (Lois), Alan Sampson (Wendy), Sydney Mines, Michelle Sampson (Gary), Bill Sampson (Paul) and Ron Sampson (Wendy). He is also survived by grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the North Sydney Food Bank or a charity of choice.
