It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Hillier of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in Fortune, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hillier and Myrtle Hillier (Tibbo); his former wife Greta; his children, David and Mary Louise; and his siblings, Albert, Gordon and Mary Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hillier (Hodgson); his children, Paula Gouthro (Tim) and Darryl Hillier of North Sydney; his grandchildren, Aaron and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Bridget and Ava; his siblings, Evan (Karen), Cecil (Carol), David (Deborah), Eric (Gisela), Rollie (Laverne), Beverly Aucoin (Mark), Marilyn Pettipas (Casper) and Edmonton; and his pet Caesar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Covid-19 protocols including limited seating, social distancing and wearing of masks with be strictly adhered to.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton or the Canadian Cancer Society.
