It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Ryan of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Ryan and Mina Ryan; and her in-law David. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Denise (Innis) of Bedford, Krysteine (Craig) of Vancouver, Kevin (Lauren) of Hamilton and Shannon (Shawn) of Windsor Junction; her grandchildren, Jack, Lauchlan, Oscar, Callum, Isla, Lucas, Cameron and Sydney; her sisters, Karen (Bob), Lynda (David) and Mona (Peter); her in-laws, Mary (John) and Matt; and also, Sally, Jimmy and Elaine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the North Sydney Community Food Bank.
